The CIS-PTO would like to welcome all of our new
and returning families to the 2015-2016 school year. We have lots of fun and exciting events planned throughout
the year. A weekly newsletter will be sent via email that will link you to the
blog. Please take a moment to view. It will act as our website and will be
updated frequently with new information.
Membership
Please consider joining the CIS-PTO. It is a
dynamic parent teacher organization that sponsors the many in-school and after-school
programs offered at Columbia. To join, fill out a Membership Form and return with $10 cash or check payable to CIS PTO by
September 4th.
Volunteer
There are lots of events planned for this year
and we would love to have the extra helping hands. Please take a moment to look
at the volunteer opportunities located on the blog. Signing up is easy! Click
on the Signup Genius link to view the many ways you can help.
Meetings
Meetings are typically held at 7pm the first
Thursday of each month in the Art Room. Please check the Calendar of Events to get the official list. The first PTO meeting of the year will be Thursday, September 3rd 7pm. Join us as we discuss the start up of the new 2015-16 school year: membership, Kroger Rewards, volunteering and the new and improved upcoming fundraiser, Spooktacular! Guest Speakers will include: Peggy Phillips and Kerry McKiernan with the McKiernan & Phillips for Kings campaign. Hope to see you there!
