SAVE THE DATE - 10.2.14 7:00 PTO Meeting in Art Room. Meeting guest: Brain Balance Center of Cincinnati owner Greg Marischen will discuss important challenges with children and behaviors. Does your child struggle academically? Does he or she have trouble making friends? Are behavioral issues causing problems in every day activities? Come hear some insightful information. CIS PTO Points 9.3.14

 

1. I hope everyone had their kids looking pretty today for Picture Day.
2. Our first PTO meeting will be Thur 9.4.14 in the CIS Art Room starting at 7:00. Please come and meet some other CIS parents and learn about what's happening at your child's school. There may even be prizes for those who come!
3. MEET AND GREET at BUCK'S after the PTO meeting. Even if you can't get to the meeting, stop over at Buck's after 8:00 to celebrate our awesomeness.
4. MEMBERSHIP DRIVE - please support our school and get a directory for $5!
5. COLUMBIA PARENT NETWORK - Do you have a businesss and would like to network with over 600 families within the district? for $10 we will publish your business on the back of the School Directory. Great, easy way to promote you and your business and support your child's school. Please submit with the membership form by 9/12.
6. KROGER REWARDS - If you shop at Kroger, and are not supporting any other fundraising group. please link here: https://www.kroger.com/communityrewards login to your Kroger Plus card (or create a login) and enter code 81346 and proceeds of your shopping will come directly to CIS!  Fundraise and not even realize it.... That's my kind of fundraiser!
7. FITNESS FOR FUNDS Planning meeting: Thur 9/11 7:00. Put this event on your calendar! Fitness for Funds is FRI 9/26 and we will need ALOT of parent helpers for the fitness stations during the several shifts throughout the day.  Check out this schedule and if you are able to help for an hour, (or more if you'd like!) then sign up here and claim your spot, as they are limited!
